Come join us for our first ever workshop in our new shop.
For this workshop, we will be working on building your very own cutting board. Over three days, we will learn how to select good hardwoods for cutting boards, how grain direction and wood movement works, and how to build a cutting board that lasts and looks great.
The dates for this workshop are:
April 17, 630-830 PMApril 24, 630-830 PMMay 1, 630-Finish.
What you need to bring:
- A willingness to learn- A water bottle/snack if you need. - Breathing protection (If you feel you need it. A cloth or dust mask will be just fine)- After the first day, you will need to purchase your hardwoods. I will give you suggestions on where to go.
We will provide all the tools, safety equipment, the skills, and the space to build your cutting board. We will also provide our cutting board finish for you to make your cutting board look great!
